How the Global Tracker System Works
Global Tracker has no recurring monthly charges! Our system utilizes the worlds largest digital cellular network (GSM) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). The Global Tracker uses an already installed GSM cell phone. Cellular carriers worldwide offer prepaid service, so you only pay when you call the unit. Global Tracker will  send data directly through the cellular voice channel with our specially designed provided modem, giving you real-time data. Using your PC you contact the tracker from your home or office phone and instantly display the target vehicle to within 5 meters on your computer with a moving street map.

Other products, that claim to track real time, actually have a 3-7 minute delay as the data is sent over a cellular carrier's text channel. Many competing systems use the internet to relay data. This means putting your tracking data at risk of unauthorized access. With internet based systems, data is sent it to a website that hopefully is up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

With Global Tracker you use your own software, your own modem and need not retrieve your sensitive data through an unsecured website. All that is needed to use a Global Tracker is a basic understanding of Windows.
