"ANG-2000 Acoustic Noise Generator"

The ANG-2000 is designed to defeat wired microphones inside walls, contact microphones, and laser or microwave reflections from windows. This system is a "direct masking" approach that allows normal conversation while defeating eavesdropping devices that rely on acoustic leakage. Most other sound masking systems flood the environment with high level noise. In this environment, the occupants must raise their voices, competing with the noise level in order to communicate, which invariably eliminates the benefit of noise masking.

The noise masking system consists of a main unit (the ANG)) and three optional accessories:

TRN-2000 Transducer used to inject acoustic noise into walls, ceilings, windows, plumbing, and air ducts.
OMS-2000 Omnidirectional Speaker used to project acoustic noise into drop ceiling air spaces, closets, and crawl spaces.

	The ANG system, as shown here in a typical application, provides complete perimeter protection for target rooms of concern.
TRN-2000 Provides perimeter protection for walls and windows. OMS-2000 Provides protection from ceiling devices (mounted in drop ceilings).

Some surfaces require less energy than others to achieve effective masking, ranging form 1/3 level for windows to full level for masonry walls. Suggested levels for various materials:

Ductwork/Plumbing - 1/2 to full
Windows - 1/3 to 1/2 (May require attenuator to reduce level to 1/2 or 1/3 in mixed systems.)
