CIA Covert Polygraph Machine
|
|
We managed to acquire the last few of these spooky machines. These vintage
units were manufactured for use by U.S. intelligence agencies. Designed for
covert deployment, they were built inside of a nondescript Samsonite®
briefcase. Ironically named "The Diplomat", it was designed to
measure various aspects of human physiology in response to a series of
increasingly provacative questions, and the results would be interpreted to
determine if the subject was being truthful. Today's polygraph machines are
charmless collections of chips, bytes, and a computer screen, but the
administering of a lie detector examination with this vintage equipment was
an art form. These units are complete, even including the manual. Very
limited supply. Weight: 25 lbs. Shipped to U.S. addresses only. No C.O.D.
