The new Telephone Privacy Filter returns privacy to your telephone again. No more junk calls at dinner time! When this unit is activated, only calls from those you want to hear from will get through; you won't hear a peep from the others. Its unique circuitry causes every caller to get a busy signal. Virtually everyone hangs up as soon as they hear a busy signal. But those who you choose to tell will know that even though they get a busy signal, they just have to push one button on their phone and the busy signal ends and the call goes through! An internal caller pre-identifications system can also be used with this device. For example, an authorized caller can be told to push a button on his phone 3 times in order to get through. Then, when you hear the Privacy Filter sound 3 times, you would even know which authorized caller it was before answering. This unit was originally developed for use on restricted access law enforcement agency lines, but it's also a unique and effective device for maintaining your telephone privacy at home.
